Our client is Johannesburg is seeking a Head of Corporate Sales to manage their Corporate Sales Team.

The Incumbent will report to the Sales and Marketing General Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for the execution of sales strategies and driving sales through the company distribution channels. His/her purpose extends to developing the strategy, tactics, sales plans and profit targets; identifying and reporting on business opportunities in target markets and various stakeholder engagements. The incumbent will also manage a team of Corporate Sales Consultants based around South Africa.

Qualifications and Experience Required

  • Business Degree or equivalent
  • 6 – 10 years’ relevant sales experience
  • 5 years’ senior sales management experience
  • Advance knowledge of a diverse mix of short and long-term insurance acts, products and services
  • Proven track record of being part of a sustainable growing business
  • Experience in extracting value from business partnerships including strategies for business development
  • Must be analytically astute and ground all strategy in a clear framework of financial ROI with objective
